Job DescriptionThis position exists in order to meet behavioral health/mental health therapy clinical service needs in the Center for Rural Behavioral Health. This position will provide mental health counseling, group therapy or other mental health programming within the Center for Rural Behavioral Health as well as provide instruction and supervision for interns from the department of Social Work, Counseling and Student Personnel, School Psychology and other related disciplines.Minimum QualificationsCurrent or eligible for LICSW in MinnesotaEligible for board approved clinical supervisor statusThree years of providing mental health therapyDemonstrated commitment to culturally relevant and inclusive practicesPreferred QualificationDemonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment.Board approved supervisor statusFive years of providing mental health therapyExperience supervising graduate student internsExperience in program developmentOther RequirementsWork safely at all times, which includes but is not limited to, participating and completing all required safety trainings, as well as performing all job tasks in accordance with Minnesota State University, Mankato policies and procedures utilizing appropriate tools, equipment and personal protective equipment.The Minnesota State University, Mankato Annual Security and Fire Safety Report is available for your review.
