Description:
Part-Time Gifted Program Curriculum Developers for Baylor TIP create curriculum documents for courses offered to the students who qualify for and participate in the talent development programs offered through The Center for Gifted Education and Talent Development. These programs include but are not limited to DECATS at Baylor, TIP Intermediate and TIP summer classes, academic competitions, and University for Young People. TIP Gifted Program Instructors may provide both online and on-the-ground instruction.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and some graduate level coursework completed
Content expertise in the area of instruction (e.g., mathematics, engineering etc.)
Pedagogical skills and/or previous experience teaching children or adolescents
Ability to communicate effectively and positively
Strong organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Completed graduate degree in content area of course being developed. Relevant professional experience in content area being taught may substitute for graduate-level coursework.
Teaching certificate with specific GT training
Experience in instructional design
Teaching experience with high ability students
