Bard College?s low-residency MBA in Sustainability program, based in New York City, has two openings for visiting faculty to teach summer and fall semester 2025 courses focused on Leading Change in Organizations, with a mission-driven focus. For the summer course, experience in the power sector is preferred, not required.

Bard?s MBA program fully integrates sustainability into a business curriculum, with students mastering the business case for sustainability, understanding how to align profit with social and environmental goals. In addition, all courses cultivate the development of business leadership for justice in organizations and in impact. Faculty members teach during intensive weekend residencies held once a month in Manhattan; in addition, they teach an online evening session each week between the monthly residencies. The low-residency format allows flexibility in residential location.

MBA faculty members are expected to have earned a Ph.D., J.D., M.B.A., M.A., or equivalent degree. Successful candidates will have a record of excellence in teaching, and professional experience leading change in businesses or non-profit organizations. This salary range reflects the College's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for the position at the time of the job posting.
