Security Officer (HS)
Job DescriptionPatrols, monitors, investigates and communicates regarding all aspects of Security and Public Safety. Serves as first line of contact for the department. Provides a safe, secure environment for staff, visitors, and patients within the Medical Center Complex and contracted facilities. Reports Public Safety and security concerns. Operates security vehicles. Staffs fixed posts. Makes designated rounds. Enforces rules. Investigates violations. Assists community police and fire officials. Assists in restraining combative patients. Performs escorting, lockout and jump-starting services.
