To be successful in this position, you will bring:

• Master's or Doctorate degree (or equivalent course work) in relevant subject area. At least one year experience teaching at the high school/college level, or equivalent.
• Facility with teaching traditional and online courses.
• Proficiency using computer applications, including those used for video conferencing, document production, and information management.
• Strong communication skills to clearly and effectively communicate information to internal and external audiences, students and parents.
• A reliable home internet connection and the ability to maintain communication with the Department, students, and parents as required and using technology as directed by the school.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently stand/walk, sit, perform desk-based computer tasks, and use a telephone.
• Frequently grasp lightly/fine manipulation.
• Must be able to conduct real-time voice-video seminars and spend 25-30 hours per week in front of a computer screen.

This role is open to candidates anywhere in the United States. Stanford University has five Regional Pay Structures. The compensation for this position will be based on the location of the successful candidate.

The expected pay range for this position is $78,856 - $89,151 per annum for the Stanford Work Location, and $65,451 - $84,693 per annum for Remote (all other regions).
