Student Assistant
Position Summary: Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Student Assistant position within the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, Section of Population Science at the Rutgers Cancer Institute.The Student Assistant will work as a Peer Mentor in a Digital Self-Management and Peer Mentoring Intervention study,. This includes meeting one-on-one with each of their assigned mentees weekly to guide them through the Managing Your Health intervention that is being tested in this study. Additionally, the Student Assistant will meet with the study staff for supervision after each call with their assigned mentees. When mentoring, the Student Assistant will be supervised by study staff, who will offer guidance and help resolve any challenges with mentees.
