The Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at NYU seeks to fill Clinical Assistant Professor faculty positions in Mathematics at its Washington Square and Brooklyn campuses. These are non-tenure track appointments. The contract term is typically 3-years and potentially renewable.  The primary responsibilities are:

• teaching and coordinating entry-level courses through multivariable calculus and linear algebra

• training and evaluating new instructors and teaching assistants

• curriculum development and assessment

• other responsibilities related to the undergraduate program

In compliance with NYC?s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary (for 9-month) range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000.  New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate?s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
