Test Proctor (Part-Time)

Located in Greater Boston, MassBay is a comprehensive, open-access community college offering associate degrees and certificate programs on three campuses in Wellesley Hills, Framingham, and Ashland, Massachusetts.

Position Summary:

The idealcandidate will join a vibrant and inclusive educational community and have adesire and ability to work with a diverse population. This is a part-time, non-unit position withno benefits. Reporting to the Directorof Accessibility Resources, the Test Proctor will provide support with examproctoring on the Framingham and Wellesley campuses.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Administer and proctor exams to incoming students in accordance with testing policies and procedures;
  
• Maintain testing supplies and materials, troubleshoot test administration problems, and ensure optimal testing conditions;
  
• Maintain high level of security and confidentially regarding all aspects of testing and materials;
  
• Maintain trainings and certifications as needed to proctor Placement or other exams;
  
• Assist with printing, filing, scanning and emailing exams as needed;
  
• Act as a reader or scribe as needed in accordance with approved student testing accommodations;
  
• Report any violations of the Code of Conduct to supervisor;
  
• Perform other duties, as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience;
  
• Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to work both independently and collaboratively;
  
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and other similar programs;
  
• Equipment experience and skill usage in computers, printers and copiers;
  
• Ability to give written and oral communication instructions;
  
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential information.

Salary Range: $25 per hour
