Position Summary
Full-time temporary position available on or after January 6, 2025 in Financial Services. Appointment will be made for one year from date of hire with the possibility of reappointment and/or becoming permanent based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
Under general direction of the Student Financial Services Manager, incumbents perform the full range of professional accounting that involves the application of accounting principles and practices to the resolution of a variety of accounting functions or problems. Work is performed with greater independence of judgment and action than the lower level. The position specializes in accounts receivables, student revenues and the student financials system.
Accountants apply knowledge of the theories, principles, and practices of the accounting profession, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), in classifying, examining, and analyzing financial transactions.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Equivalent to a bachelor's degree with a major in accounting, business administration, finance or a closely related field OR a combination of education and additional experience which provides the required knowledge and abilities.
Experience: Equivalent to two years of progressively responsible professional accounting experience.

Salary Range
Anticipated salary will be $4,909 - $5,400 per month plus excellent paid benefits. Salary will depend on the qualifications of the successful finalist. (Full range: $4,909 - $9,473 per month)
