Education & Experience (Required):

• Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (Required):

• Knowledge regarding employee and labor relations, the National Labor Relations Act, the National Labor Relations Board, and state and federal employment laws.
• Demonstrated experience managing collective bargaining agreements.
• Demonstrated experience with mediation and other dispute resolution systems and techniques. Experience with dispute resolution programs or grievance programs.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and understanding of group dynamics. Successful track record of establishing credibility and trust with a diverse client group.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, judgment, and influencing skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to prepare clear and concise reports and deliver formal presentations or training.
• Demonstrated proficiency with business applications, such as Microsoft Office suite and human resource information systems.
• Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, manage shifting priorities, and handle numerous time-sensitive projects with multiple deadlines.
• Ability to accomplish goals working through formal and informal channels, with diplomacy and tactfulness.
• Demonstrated creativity, problem solving, critical analysis, initiative, judgment and, decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to learn and become proficient in academic policies and graduate student financial support.
• Ability to direct the work of others.

Education & Experience (Desired):

• Experience working in a university or academic environment
• Relevant Human Resources and/or Labor Relations certification

Pay Range:

The expected pay range for this position is $116,849 to $148,275 per annum.
