The Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics in the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University invites applications for a non-tenure-track position at the clinical assistant professor level.

The Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics seeks candidates with demonstrated potential for teaching in the area as supported by a professional background in information systems or through publishing high quality research relevant to information systems. Candidates should be devoted to excellence in teaching. Since this is a clinical faculty position, we highly value relevant work experience in the field of information systems. The teaching load is flexible based on research productivity as high-quality research publications are valued but not expected or required for this position. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.

The primary need is teaching the junior-level core class Introduction to MIS to undergraduate business majors, though graduate teaching in our MBA program is also possible. The standard teaching load for fall/spring semesters will be between 9-12 credit hours per semester, depending on research productivity.

The Hankamer School of Business (http://www.baylor.edu/business/) is AACSB accredited and home to the Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics (https://www.baylor.edu/business/isba/). The Information Systems and Business Analytics Department has 34 full-time faculty supporting three full-time MIS degrees (undergraduate MIS, MSIS, and PhD), an on-campus MSBA, as well as business school service courses in quantitative business analysis (QBA), MIS, and business communications. Qualifications:

• A master's or higher degree in Information Systems or a related field is required.
• Demonstrate teaching excellence in the area of information systems is preferred.
