Job Description

Design and implement 6-weeks of classes focused on specified subjects to be implemented during the 2025 OSU Mansfield Campus Upward Bound summer program. Specified subjects are:

• Chemistry
• Biology
• Physics
• Foreign Language
• Composition
• Literature

Duties/Responsibilities

50% | Implement curriculum and assist students in learning.

15% | Develop and identify appropriate tools, methods, technology, and actions to support curricula outcomes.

15% | Create assignments, grading rubrics, task schedules, and other pedagogical materials.

10% | Design curriculum and teaching goals to support assignments and curricula outcomes.

10% | Grade assignments, work with program staff to identify students in need of tutoring and provide practice materials for tutoring as needed.

Education/Experience

Required: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the relevant field, or fluency in the language being taught.

This position is in Mansfield, Ohio

Start date June 6th, 2025, and end date July 11, 2025

This position requires a successful completion of an BCI/FBI background check completed 6-8 weeks before the start date.
