This position provides supplemental support services and interventions to enhance student success, retention, and completion at CCBC. Reporting to the Director of Student Retention and Transition Services, the Assistant Director oversees student support programming (such as tutoring, supplemental instruction, and other interventions).

1. Oversee the planning and allocation of resources to effectively staff and accomplish the department's productivity goals, including planning and evaluating to improve the efficiency of processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, and output for all stakeholders, including students, faculty, alumni, and industry partners.
2. Collaborate with the director to develop new programs, initiatives, and strategies consistent with the College's mission.
3. Document all policies and procedures, assess data, and strengthen operational practices to ensure business operations are meeting student needs.
4. Supervise, advise, and evaluate assigned staff, as required.
5. Prepare, analyze, and provide reports on miscellaneous subjects, as requested.
6. Serve as liaison between college departments, vendors, government agencies and/or other external organizations.
7. Serve on established departmental committees and/or ad hoc committees, task forces or other bodies pertinent to student success.
8. Serve as Administrator on Duty responsibilities as needed.
9. Manage operating budget for assigned division or function, as required.
