Animal Technician 3
1. Observe and evaluate animals for signs of illness and stress and deviations in animal conditions. 2. Feed, house and handle animals in accordance with institutional, local and Federal regulations. 3. Perform animal care with veterinary oversight which may include specialized drug administration, sample collection, and pre- and post-procedural care. 4. Maintain records of treatments. 5. Provide husbandry and specialized services for animals in animal colonies. 6. Maintain, sanitize and decontaminate animal rooms and facilities within low to moderate hazardous areas, e.g. BL2. 7.
