Research Specialist
We are seeking a Research Technologist to perform sample preparation, mass spectrometry imaging and, and data analysis in the Applied Imaging Mass Spectrometry (AIMS) Core at The Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions. The candidate will closely work with and support the users of the AIMS Core under the supervision of the AIMS Core directors. Specific Duties & ResponsibilitiesSection frozen or formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissues obtained from users onto conductive slides.Use and operate a robotic sprayer to spray enzymes/matrix onto tissue section.Set up mass spectrometry imaging experiments, perform histology stains, and perform imaging data analysis.
