What We Are Looking For

This position will be responsible for managing the Leadership Plenty Institute (LPI) program by facilitating the LPI Program marketing and messaging for program engagement as well as general community awareness of program's attributes and benefits. In addition, this position will lead recruitment, scheduling, training and engagement of LPI Facilitators and panelists while also recruiting, selecting and engaging McLennan County community members as program participants. Other responsibilities include fostering engagement between class participants through well designed networking events like the new class Meet & Greet, Graduation Ceremony. The Manager shall be responsible for planning, hosting, said ceremonies, soliciting City of Waco recognition for graduation day, providing gifts/honorariums to participants, facilitators/panelists as appropriate

A Bachelor's Degree and two years of relevant work experience is required. A Master's Degree and three years of relevant work experience is preferred.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What You Will Do

• Facilitating LPI Program marketing and messaging for program engagement as well as general community awareness of program's attributes and benefits
• Recruitment, scheduling, training and engagement of LPI Facilitators and panelists
• Providing advice, direction and/or guidance to LPI Facilitators to ensure connectivity/alignment between program modules and topical discussions
• Recruiting, selecting and engaging McLennan County community members as program participants,
• Ensuring the LPI Waco remains a community oriented program that draws a diverse array of participants and facilitators
• Ensuring (and tracking) participant attendance and engagement in throughout the 10 module course
• Fostering engagement between class participants through well designed networking events like the new class Meet & Greet, Graduation Ceremony. The Contractor shall be responsible for planning, hosting, said ceremonies, soliciting City of Waco recognition for graduation day, providing gifts/honorariums to participants, facilitators/panelists as appropriate
• Foster engagement of LPI Cohorts, Today's Action Tomorrow's Leaders (TATL) Ambassadors, including Cooper and Waco Foundation representatives, and the Greater Waco Community
• As appropriate, keep Waco Foundation apprised of LPI program progress, challenges and needs (budgetary and non) throughout the scope of the contract period
• Work with LPI graduates (past, present and future), TATL Ambassadors and other community partners to facilitate graduate engagement on boards, commissions, taskforces, and other leadership positions
• Supporting additional existing and new nonprofit capacity building programs and efforts led by the Office of External Affairs
• Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
• Ability to comply with University policies
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
