Your Role on the Team

Position Summary:

Under general direction of the Director, CV & Neuroscience Service Lines, the Manager of Cardiovascular Services is responsible to plan, direct and supervise all nursing, technical and operational aspects of Cath Lab/IR, Nonivasive Cardiology, Cardiac Rehab and VAT specific to services, programs, disposables, equipment and the evaluation of such programs. This position ensures an optimal work environment that ensures the delivery of quality patient care; oversees the 24-hour operation of the forementioned departments with accountability for leadership, budget preparation and overall fiscal management, staffing, planning, organizing and controlling. Role models proactive, collaborative working relationships across all hospital functions in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care. Develops programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure patient's nursing care needs are assessed, evaluated, and met.

Required Qualifications:

• CA RN License
• Graduate of Bachelor Program
• Current BLS and ACLS Certification
• Minimum of 3 years Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology experience
• Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role
• Demonstrated competencies specific to responsibilities within lab, including but not limited to: IABPP insertion, hemodynamic monitoring
• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Preferred Qualifications:

• Five years cardiac Cath lab and or intervention radiology experience
• Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration or related field
• Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
