DESCRIPTIONUnder direction, responsible for all administrative support to Operating Room Assistant Director, Nurse Managers and Supervisors. Makes operational decisions within policy. Provides information or reports to managers to be used in resource determination and allocation. Provides reception and administrative functions for the Jacobs Medical Center, Thornton Hospital, Sulpizio Cardiovascular Center Operating Rooms, and the Outpatient Surgery Center, as needed. Facilitates urgent changes in the OR schedule and schedules surgical cases. Monitors status of all surgery cases and provide pertinent information to the management, charge nurses, surgeons, anesthesia providers, staff, families and other regarding ongoing OR activity.
