This Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Planning organizing and overseeing daily clinical and administrative operations within the Sleep Center.
- Preparing staff schedules, requesting and allocating resources and facilitates coordination of care/services to meet patient care and operation requirements.
- Collaborating with Senior Leadership within the Sleep Center towards the development and implementation of internal standards, policies and procedures to improve quality, safety and cost-effective patient care.
- Selecting, supervising, coaching and evaluating clinical staff.
- Considering, developing and providing staff education/development programs in collaboration with professional development teams across the organization.
- Supporting and guiding regulatory readiness compliance, safety event reports and follow up action plans.
- Leading and participating in quality initiatives, hospital, departmental and multidisciplinary programs, committees and special projects.
- Working 40 hours, four days per week.
- Please note: Individuals in this role may be expected to take on additional patient care duties in response to patient and staffing needs.
- BSN and current MA RN license.
- A master's degree in nursing or current enrollment in master's program preferred.
- 4-5 years RN experience required
- Previous leadership experience preferred.
- Excellent leadership, team building and collaboration skills.
- Analytical skills to resolve highly complex problems requiring the application of clinical, scientific or technical principles, theories, and concepts and in-depth, cross-functional experienced-based knowledge.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions.
- Excellent technology skills.
