Job Description:

• Coordinate treatment plans with clients, support services, and other providers.
• Coordinate services with other providers, such as therapists, psychiatrists, and social workers.
• Provide advocacy and support to clients.
• Monitor client progress related to collateral contacts, reporting efforts and results to the Director of Counseling and Health Services.
• Coordinate the university's COVID-19 informational response, including providing education and support to clients and staff.
• Provide educational mental health awareness information and workshops to the university community.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and collateral management services provided.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to client/student confidentiality as required by FERPA and HIPAA.

Required Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, mental health technology, or a related field
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate in groups
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
• Possess a willingness to work with clients and students with various mental health needs
• Ability to travel to meet with clients, agencies and hospitals or conduct other work-related activities or to attend training
