Postdoctoral Research Associate in Characterization of synthesis processes and carbon nanomaterials
Princeton UniversityA postdoctoral or more senior researcher position is available for a new project on methane decomposition to hydrogen and carbon nanotubes (CNTs) in an innovative arc reactor with molten electrodes. The project is led by Dr. Yevgeny Raitses at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) in collaboration with Prof. Bruce Koel at Princeton University. Research involves guiding the development of the plasma reactor through complementary catalyst and materials studies. Major responsibilities and tasks will include synthesis and characterization of catalyst materials for high yield synthesis of CNTs and extensive ex-situ characterization of synthesized nanomaterials by materials evaluation tools. Expertise is required in a wide range of spectrosco
