Department OverviewDialysis nurses provide care to all ages and a diversified population ranging from acute to chronically ill patients while adhering to strict, dynamic regulatory standards. During the hemodialysis (HD) procedure, the nurse is managing the patients clinical status, the venous access, the infusion of blood components or specialized fluids, and oversees the technical aspects of the HD machines.
