Research Technician
GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT: Under the direct supervision of the Principal Investigator the Research Technician will be part of an interdisciplinary team at the preclinical imaging laboratory of the Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging at Massachusetts General Hospital. The research technician will work closely with the scientific staff to conduct preclinical imaging studies and assist with rodent care and procedures such as contrast agent administration, in-vivo imaging, and tissue collection. The technician will also assist with regular maintenance and cryogen filling of the preclinical MRI scanners. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Scheduling imaging studies.Operation of preclinical MRI, MR-PET and PET-CT scanners.
