The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of North Carolina is recruiting for a Division Director for the Division of Gynecologic Oncology. This will be a clinical-track, full-time faculty position. The UNC Division of Gynecologic Oncology consists of 10 physicians. At the main campus, the team also consists of 1 nurse practitioner, 2 division-based nurse clinicians, 2 hospital-based nurse navigators, and 6 fellows in training. At our Rex campus, in addition to our clinic team, we have 1 PA and 3 nurse navigators; and in Greensboro, we have our clinic team and a nurse practitioner.

This is a faculty position at the Associate Professor or Professor rank, and will be tenure track, tenured, or fixed-term, dependent on the candidate's qualifications. We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic individual who has a national reputation, experience working in and leading change, with strong interpersonal and collaborative skills. The successful applicant will have a track record of outstanding administrative and leadership skills and will be dedicated to the tripartite mission of excellence in clinical care, education, and research.

The Division Director's role includes financial oversight and strategic planning for the clinical enterprise. They will have expertise and be clinically active in the ambulatory and surgical care of patients with gynecologic malignancies. The Division Director will also work to support and enhance the vital research and educational missions of the division and to oversee the professional development of its team members.

Minimally invasive surgery experience is strongly preferred. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
