The Department of Neurology within the University of Kentucky College of Medicine is seeking a full-time neurologist with clinical and research interests in vascular neurology.

General duties include:
-Evaluate, diagnose and manage adults with vascular neurological conditions including -Educate residents, medical students, and fellows as assigned.
-Pursue external funding support to build new clinical services and research programs.
-Participate on committees to represent the Department of Neurology and the as requested by the Chair
-Attend Department faculty meetings and Divisional conferences as required.

This position has been identified as supporting UK HealthCare, which receives funding from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Therefore, all individuals hired into this position must comply with the federal CMS mandate issued in March of 2022. The successful candidate will have experience in the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with vascular neurology disorders.
