The Boston Children's Hospital Division of Immunology/Allergy is seeking a Research Intern for long-term clinical research studies. The goal of these studies is to find new or better interventions (drugs or environmental) in effectively reducing asthma, allergies, and eczema.
This Research Intern will be responsible for:
- working with the lead research coordinator and other research assistants
- completing training activities in a timely fashion
- recruitment of participants for enrollment in clinical trials
- organizing strategies for recruiting study patients
- screening participants for eligibility
- following up with potentially interested participants
- working closely with the Principal Investigator and other staff on implementing clinical studies
In order to qualify, you must have:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- ability to multi-task required
- Spanish-speaking skills are desirable but not required
- Team player spirit essential
- Experience working in research or in the medical/health field is helpful
- Excellent clinical research experience for those interested in health professions.
