Schick Lab studies the health effects of air pollution, with a focus on secondhand tobacco and cannabis smoke. We go out to public places where people are using cannabis and collect data and samples of the air pollutants (field research). We also recruit healthy nonsmokers, expose them to air pollution and assess the health effects (clinical research). The incumbent will perform field research, collecting air samples and observational data in public places in the greater San Francisco Bay area where people are consuming cannabis. In consultation with the Principal Investigator, Suzaynn F. Schick, the incumbent will identify appropriate events and locations for field research, and prepare air sampling media and instruments.
