Research Technologist I
Position Summary The technician will work on a project on evaluating relationships between preyfish abundance and predatory fish diets and stable isotopes in the Great Lakes. Duties related to this portion of the position include collecting stomachs from fish caught at fishing tournaments around lakes Michigan and Huron, analyzing stomach contents, entering and extracting data into an Access database, supervising undergraduate workers, and maintaining laboratory compliance with MSU regulations. The position requires driving to ports to collect stomachs from tournaments and collaborators.
