Research Assistant
We are seeking a Research Assistant who will work with faculty and staff in the Division of Infectious Diseases, Center for Innovative Diagnostics for Infectious Diseases. The Research Assistant's primary responsibility is supporting the I Want the Kit (IWTK) program. IWTK is an internet outreach program which provides free, accurate, and confidential testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Since 2015 there has been a year-on-year increase in STIs in the United States. Testing is an important tool to help mitigate this increase. Through IWTK, participants in certain geographic areas may order kits, self-collect specimens at home, and return them to be screened for STIs. The Research Assistant also will work on other Center projects as needed.
