The Rockefeller University seeks a Research Support Specialist (Salary Range: $70K-$90K) to join Drug Discovery Resource Center. The Research Support Specialist will design, implement, and interpret experiments using miniaturized, high-throughput bioassay techniques in support of Rockefeller and Weill Cornell Medical Center faculty, students, and post-docs. Responsibilities include: management and maintenance of drug discovery instruments and automated liquid handling; evaluation of new technologies; writing sections of academic publications and reports; supporting and guiding experiments in the biophysical analysis of drug-receptor interactions.

A Ph.D. in a biochemistry-related discipline with significant post-doctoral biology experience or 5 years' experience in a drug discovery-related setting with appropriate publication history is required. Ability to work collaboratively with users of the Drug Discovery Resource Center.
