The Division of Emergency Medicine seeks a motivated Program Coordinator to perform various administrative tasks that require in depth knowledge of programs. The ideal candidate will help coordinate the operations of the research and clinical network programs in the Division of Emergency Medicine to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished in accordance with established priorities, time limitations, or other specifications.
The Program Coordinator I shall be responsible for:
- Coordinating activities and daily operations of a program.
- Conferring with staff and others to provide technical advice, provide problem solving assistance and answer questions about the program and its goals. Referring inquiries to others as needed.
- May prepare or assists in the preparation of periodic reports and records on program activities, progress, status or other special reports for management or outside agencies.
- May review applications or other program documents in conjunction with supervisor to determine acceptance or make decisions pertaining to program.
- May assist in the coordination of recruitment efforts.
- Drafting written communication and promotional literature.
- May assist in planning workshops, meetings or conferences; coordinates logistics, scheduling and participant communications.
- Interacting and maintaining liaison with staff, faculty and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives.
To qualify, you must have:
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1 year of relevant experience required
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations
- The ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.
