This General Outpatient Clinical Nutrition Specialist II will be responsible for:
- Providing nutritional care to patients in our outpatient programs.
- Evaluating the medical, biochemical, and nutritional information and assessing patient needs in order to develop and implement the most appropriate nutrition care plans.
- Assisting in the supervision of the daily work of the dietetic technician.
- A Bachelor's degree in nutrition and three plus years of progressive experience in Dietetics with at least 2 years in pediatric nutrition
- Registration by Commission on Dietetic Registration, the Credentialing agency of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, as a Registered Dietitian
- Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a licensed Dietitian.
- Analytical skills to resolve complex problems requiring the use of scientific, mathematical, or technical principles and in‑depth, experienced‑based knowledge.
- Good communication skills to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions and well‑developed writing skills
- Spanish language skills a plus
Position is based in Boston and Waltham, 30 hours per week, and is eligible for full time benefits.
