Research Technician
GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT: Reporting directly to the Sr.Manager of the Flow Cytometry Laboratory (Charlestown Naval Yard) Dr. R. Mylvaganam. This position will be based in the flow and mass cytometry core laboratory with responsibilities related to research projects in a variety of areas including, but not limited to stem cell biology, cancer research, transplantation and immunology. Operation of the laboratory's flow analyzers, cell sorters and cytometry time of flight (CyTOF) instrument will be expected. Working hour flexibility will be required.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for modifications of existing assay techniques, experimental protocols and new procedures.Responsible for specific research study
