Monthly Salary: Range 30, $2,552.00 - $2,864.00 -(step A through G)
Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.
Summary of Duties: Under general supervision, perform a variety of skilled gardening duties to maintain safe, clean, and attractive grounds on the Tri-Cities campus.
Required Qualifications:
Ability to perform heavy, outside work in inclement weather; follow oral and written directions and one year of gardening or grounds keeping experience; OR equivalent education/experience.
- High School diploma or equivalent and must have, or be able to obtain at time of hire, a valid driver's license.
- Physical ability to perform the tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with grounds and landscape power equipment, experience pruning and shrub bed maintenance, and tree pruning, trimming, and removal.
