Job Description
The Producer has an importantrole in each of three phases in the Athletic Department's production process:preproduction, production and postproduction. All phases are important in oureffort to grow and maintaining our brand awareness at home and in externalmarkets via social media and interactive media outlets.
During the pre-production phase,the individual with assist in the development of concepts and collaborate inthe decision on what forms of media will be used. This involves processes likescripting, storyboarding, budgeting and setting deadlines.
The production phase involvesthe creation of individual elements that will make up the final product. Thiswould include shooting video, creating graphics and recording voice-overs.
In postproduction, all the various media elements arebrought together to create a final product. The video is edited and colorcorrected; graphics are finalized and inserted into the project.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree, Master's preferred, Experience/Education in Athletic Management is a plus
Hands on video, audio, and computer skills and experience
Documented interpersonal skills
Proficient in AVID with effects editing, After Effects, Photoshop, and Office
Experience with Daktronics in game technologies
Ability to foster and maintain working relationships with individuals representing other departments in the university, the media, and partners to the Athletics Department
