Job Description:
Forge and Sustain Partnerships
Builds partnerships and provides on-site leadership coaching and support to identified schools and leaders.
Works in partnership with schools to set goals, and develops and implements plans to improve student experiences and outcomes through a shared leadership framework.
Enhance Principal Leadership
Supports the Principal with strategic management of school priorities, especially through cultivating the development of a Senior Leadership Team and the Principalâ™s distribution of leadership to Assistant Principals and other staff leaders.Â
Supports the principal to manage NCS partnership resources, including individual coaching, team coaching, and NCS collaboratives.
Supports the Principal and Instructional Leadership Team (ILT) to lead instructional improvement in the school.
Helps Principal and ILT interpret research and data to guide school improvement efforts.
Ensure High Quality Supports to Partner Schools
Coordinates NCS coaching teams to ensure coherent and effective efforts at the school level.
Maintains on-going communication with school leaders and purposeful documentation of work.
Collaborates with NCS staff to design and facilitate professional learning for participants within NCS and district wide.
Works collaboratively with NCS staff to develop and sustain organizational mission and vision.
Utilizes breadth of expertise in the identification and establishment of collaborative partnerships with schools.
Plays a key role in program evaluation and improvement efforts.
Performs other related work as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Masterâ™s Degree in Education or related field.
Experience:
A minimum of 8 years experience in school improvement, preferably at the high school level.
Experience forming and facilitating teacher teams.
Principal experience, preferably at the high school level.
Licenses and Certifications:
Type 75 Certificate or equivalent.

Strong facilitation skills and demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles.

Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and project management skills and ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Ability to integrate and effectively utilize technology for professional productivity, including word processing, presentation (PPT), and spreadsheet software.

Working Conditions
Daily access to a reliable car.
