The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Pritzker Department of Child and Adolescent of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, seek a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor. This position is intended for a child and adolescent psychiatrist who will join a multidisciplinary child and adolescent psychiatry department in a nationally ranked, freestanding children’s hospital located on the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine campus.

Responsibilities include acute care services on the inpatient, partial hospital and intensive outpatient settings and teaching duties, as well as shared coverage of other clinical services. Scholarly activity is expected.
Qualified candidates will have completed a child and adolescent training program that includes experience in acute care services and demonstrated ability in teaching/supervision and a commitment to participating in an academic medical center environment. Board certified or eligible in child and adolescent psychiatry is required. Fluency in Spanish would be a plus. Hiring is contingent upon eligibility to work in the United States, licensure in Illinois and Lurie Children’s medical staff membership before starting work.
Full-time position. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Start date is negotiable after licensure in Illinois and Lurie Children's credentialing is completed. Applications will be evaluated as received. The position will remain open until filled.
