The position will offer support in daily operations of the department systems, including PACS, Voice Recognition, EMR, including analysis, troubleshooting and training within the Diagnostic Radiology Department and to the other clinical areas utilizing our applications.
- End User Support of departmental applications and systems: Offers front line assistance for a wide variety of systems including PACS, voice recognition and EMR systems. Responds to requests from multiple sources, including phone, pager and email. Helps to monitor and process User Access requests. Provides training for users where applicable.
- Daily system maintenance: Monitors and reviews data integrity across multiple systems. Reconciles this information, including corrections in PACS, EMR, voice recognition and imaging modalities. Helps manage and reconcile imaging studies received from outside institutions. Escalates issues to team members for support as required.
- System Support and Maintenance: Provides technical support for imaging systems, workstations and imaging modalities. Troubleshoots and gathers information for both critical and ongoing system support. Partners with and coordinates ITG and CTS technical services as appropriate. Works with vendors to ensure performance and stability and updates of clinical systems.
- Specialty Projects: Works on other departmental initiatives as assigned to help support departmental goals and initiatives.
- Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field; OR
- 2 years of computer support or IT experience; OR
- An equivalent combination of training and/or experience.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation.
- Experience working in Healthcare and/or Diagnostic Imaging.
- Experience with PACS, voice recognition, EMR, Imaging Modality devices.
- PACS Certification from PARCA or ABII.
