Health Care Representative
Position Summary Functions as customer service representative both in person and over the phone at the Student Health Center. Successful candidate will schedule appointments, greet visitors; check in patients to clinic; responsible for fee collections, coordination of patient referrals and medical insurance verification. Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills Knowledge normally acquired through a high school education; one year of related and progressively more responsible work experience in a medical office setting including verification of insurance coverage, knowledge of medical terminology, knowledge of electronic medical records and patient scheduling systems and performing direct customer service in both face to face settings and over the telephone;
