Vascular Sonographer (Flex)
The function of the Vascular Sonographer position within the Department of Diagnostic Imaging is to perform all phases of diagnostic vascular sonography. These procedures include but are not necessarilylimited to Abdominal Vascular (Liver, Renal, Mesenteric) ,L.E. & U.E. Venous Doppler, Carotid, Renal Transplant, Liver Transplant, Pancreas transplant, Finger and Toe PPG's, Chronic Venous, TCD and Nielsen Cold Challenge procedures. The vascular Sonographer promotes OHSU's mission statement by delivering high quality, cost effective, family-oriented service. This position helps to create a collaborative environment by integrating education, research and clinical leadership. Sonographers work with infant, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.
