DENTAL ASSISTANT , MIT Medical , to provide chairside assistance to dentists for evaluation, management, and treatment of patients during and between office visits. MIT Medical is a multidisciplinary group practice and health resource providing community-focused support and service programs enhancing the health and wellness of students, faculty, staff, retirees, and their families. Job Requirements
REQUIRED : high school diploma or its equivalent; current Massachusetts' dental assistant certification with current radiology certification; at least two years' relevant medical experience and one year as a dental assist in a dental office; experience with fourhanded dentistry; working knowledge of operative dentistry and other general dental procedures; ability to work with small children and the elderly; willingness to learn new procedures and collaborate with others with the department; excellent analytical, organizational, communication, interpersonal, and diplomacy skills; ability to comply with established risk management and safety procedures and all local, state, and federal privacy and confidentiality rules/regulations; sound judgment and problem-solving ability; attention to detail and accuracy; willingness to maintain CPR certification and participate in site-based CPR drills; and ability to prioritize tasks and see them through to completion in a complex and busy environment.
