The Geosciences Department at Hamilton College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning July 1, 2022. We are seeking a broadly trained structural geologist who can teach the fundamental concepts of structural geology and tectonics effectively in the classroom, lab, and field. It is equally important that the candidate has a keen interest in the relevance of structural geology for solving problems in other subdisciplines of the geosciences and in the importance of structural geology and tectonics for addressing problems of societal interest.
