Animal Health Technician
The purpose of the Animal Health Technician position is to provide support with the medical care of animals housed at UCSF's Hunters Point Animal Facility (HPAF) and to keep good documentation of this care. The person in this position will work closely with our other animal health technicians and the facility veterinarians in making sure that the best animal care is provided to all animals in the colony.The Animal Health Technician will work closely with our other animal health technicians in managing clinical case records for animals needing medical treatment, undergoing surgery or undergoing experimental procedures.
