Physical Therapy Assistant
The Physical Therapist Assistant, the P.T.A.II, reports to the Clinical Supervisor, Physical Therapy and provides both direct and indirect patient care services. The P.T.A.II works primarily with adult and geriatric patients from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds, although pediatric and adolescent patients may also be treated. The PTA II demonstrates knowledge within a wide range of diagnoses including general medicine, orthopedics, neurology, and cardiopulmonary in the adult and/or pediatric setting.
