The School of Engineering, Office of the Dean, seeks a floating Administrative Associate who will be deployed to one of nine different departments based on critical needs. The length of each assignment will vary depending on the needs of each specific work group. As a collaborator with a variety of departments, you will gain a keen understanding of how the School of Engineering functions and the opportunities for career progression. This position reports to the Executive Assistant to the Dean/Administrative Team Manager and works closely with leadership and staff throughout the School of Engineering, Office of the Dean.
Your responsibilities may include:
PCard purchasing and clearing
Event planning such as lunches, breakfasts, and special occasions.
Arrange travel and act as a resource to guide travelers on business travel policy.
Purchasing and maintaining office supplies and equipment.
Facilitate events and conferences through interfacing with vendors and using organizational skills to coordinate logistics and materials.
Composing, formatting, preparing, and distributing routine communications and materials.
Providing accurate and timely processing of financial transactions including expense reimbursements and purchasing card transactions.
Maintain office supplies and equipment, obtain vendor quotations.
Maintain approved content on websites for each department during your time at each.
Other duties assigned per each department.
Scheduling complex meetings with multiple constituencies.

Occasionally stand/walk, reach/work above shoulders, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, grasp forcefully, use a telephone, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
Rarely twist/bend/stoop/squat, kneel/crawl.
