Postdoctoral Scholar Human Information Processing Laboratory
The HIPLab (Human Information Processing Lab) in the UCI Department of Cognitive Sciences seeks a Postdoctoral Scholar to work with Professor George Sperling on projects in visual attention and visual motion perception.
Candidates must hold a fully completed Ph.D. in Cognitive Sciences or a related field and have experience with psychophysics and modeling approaches. Candidates should possess strong computational skills and have experience with Matlab and Psychtoolbox (preferred) or with equivalent programming and display languages. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. This full-time position has an anticipated start date of October 1, 2021, contingent on available funding. The initial position will be for one year, with the possibility of renewal based on job performance and availability of support.
