Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Training Coordinator for the University Enrollment Services (UES) Department. The Training Coordinator reports to the Executive University Director of Enrollment Services and serves in the coordination, execution, and evaluation of training programs. These programs include supporting UES Team with training courses, webinars, and the creation of instructional materials (self-directed online modules, screen capture, video tutorials) to ensure that the entire university community is informed and effectively prepared for innovation and new technological systems that include integrated applications.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Collaborates on several training development projects involving the Sales Force System, Oracle Student Financial Planning and Oracle Student Management Cloud.
Develops, collects, and analyzes reports on all University Enrollment Services related course attendance, surveys, and attendance trends.
Uses Canvas, LMS and SharePoint to maintain training documents, Microsoft Office, Visio, Adobe Captivate, Google Tools, Camtasia and Kaltura to create systems training content; creates and manages results gathered from Course Surveys (Qualtrics).
Coordinates the logistics for the delivery of training across multiple campuses, including all equipment and materials; executes training programs across all campuses, to all levels of the university community.
Develops and administers the new Sales Force Course Registration System Site; administers the UES Training Initiative SharePoint page.
Maintains a weekly updated Course list of courses offered in UES Training Room and monitors UES Training Room activities.
Collaborates with Systems Administrator – to manage computer laptops requests or related training needs to support multiple projects.
Coordinates with UES tech support for technical and operational assistant related to Training or UAT, access to CANVAS, Training, CRS.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates comprehensive knowledge and understanding of business/student services operations, business information systems, training program development and project management.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience using training programs web-based, video instruction, instructional design using Captivate, or other screen capture tools, Power Point, Kaltura, Google Tools, website creation tools.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong technical skills coupled with business intelligence.
Ability to work admissions, financial aid, registrar, and technology subject matter experts to quickly grasp pertinent information and translate it into training design documents and courses.
Experience evaluating training courses, and user-centered training materials and tutorials.
Strong customer service and presentation skills.
Maintains a high level of knowledge and expertise in Sales Force modules of Admission Application, Case Management, Marketing, Events Management, Prospect Management and Reporting Analytics.
Ability to facilitate and host Webinars using WebEx tools – Training Center.
Experience with LMS, Course Registration Systems, and web-based course development software.
Experience with various information systems, including Sales Force, Oracle functionality.
Previous experience working in higher education and an understanding of Rutgers University's administrative, systems operations and requirements.
Training and A/V equipment and software and Room Reservation Systems
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
This position requires travel to multiple campuses.
