The Employer Relations Associate Director hires and supervises the Employer Relations Team within the Career Management Center, including the Employer Relations Coordinators and Events and Communications Coordinator. The person in this role takes the lead in providing recruiting and employer relations services to companies recruiting through the Career Management Center. This role is responsible for developing and implementing strategies for companies to engage with students, communication with companies regarding Career Management Center activities, and is the key student organization contact as it relates to corporate engagement.
Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a Master's degree, and one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience related to the area of employment; or knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a Bachelor’s degree, and three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience developing career programs and activities; advising individuals and groups in a variety of settings; public speaking; writing and editing for mass distribution; working in a team environment; use of internet, word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Corporate experience and experience in higher education. High degree of oral and written communication skills; organizational and customer service skills; ability to plan, problem-solve and multi-task.
