This Vascular Anomalies Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will be responsible for:
Caring for patients with vascular anomalies in the Vascular Anomalies Center.
Working in the vascular anomalies clinics, general surgery clinics and NP clinics.
Participating in medical research trial patient visits.
Providing inpatient consults, phone/email triage, patient/clinician education, coordination of complex care and procedures.
Charting reviews in preparation for weekly clinics and conferences.
Executing case presentations at our interdisciplinary conferences.
Providing ongoing hospital staff education in multiple service areas.
Working four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday.
To qualify, you must have:
MSN or Master's in a Physician Assistant Program
At least 2 years of PNP/FNP or PA experience required.
Would consider new NPs with at least 5 years of pediatric nursing experience.
Prior experience working with an interdisciplinary team is preferred.
This is an exciting and unique opportunity for an FNP or PNP to join our interdisciplinary Vascular Anomalies Center. The Center is comprised of clinicians representing 17 medical and surgical specialties with the unifying expertise to care for patients with vascular tumors and vascular malformations. The Center sees both national and international patients from prenatal consultation through adulthood. The NP serves as a core member of this team.
