The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, (UT) invites applications and nominations for our Federal Programs Coordinator position. The Enrollment Management (EM) division comprises more than 150 full-time staff who serve our students through the following departments and functions: Undergraduate Admissions, International Recruitment, Transfer Center, One Stop Student Services, Financial Aid and Scholarships, University Registrar, EM Communications, and Research & Analytics. This position will serve all departments in EM working closely with our accounting specialist and reporting to the director.
Functions and Responsibilities:
Works in conjunction with the Assistant Director of Loan Processing with tasks such as Return to Title IV, Unofficial Withdrawals, late and retroactive fund disbursements, and loan adjustments. Serves as backup to the Reconciliation Coordinator, including reconciling financial aid fund accounts in IRIS, managing the appropriate supporting documentation, reviewing and reconciling US Dept. of Education Origination and Disbursement records and TN Student Assistance Corporation deposits to a zero balance. Manage implementation of and updates to all modules and special terms, including Winter and Summer Mini terms.
